First post!

Ah, I guess it's too late for a New Year's post. Maybe this can be considered a belated New Year's post!

Well... first post, first post... what am I meant to say? Oh, I know! Let's talk about 2012 and all of its wonderful joys! Goodness, that sounded strange.

Personally, all this talk about the world ending in 2012 is utter hogwash (even though sometimes I think otherwise before I sleep)! My best buddy agrees with me, and so do my teachers! In my opinion, the world will end because of global warming or the sun exploding - most definitely not because it's the end of the Mayan calendar. I quote my lovely teacher to further emphasise my point, "the Mayans probably just ran out of fingers to count with" and to which I replied with a laugh and agreed wholeheartedly. Rather than panicking over the apocalypse (possibly) happening, you should try to stop global warming! Why? Because that's definitely going to "end the world".

Dear me, I must have sounded strange, didn't I? Truly though, there's nothing wrong with being worried about the planet you live on.

2012 brings a lot of great things. Great albums, wonderful books and excellent games! Well, I'm more of a 3DS player so I'm all about 3DS games. "Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright"? "Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle"? "KID ICARUS: UPRISING"?! Those are three among many! I'm actually very excited for "Good People Die" and the new Harvest Moon game.

Then comes the issue of them being localised! I'm still sorely disappointed that "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked" hasn't made its way over to Europe/Australia yet. I hope Ghostlight will do so, though! Yes, so I hope the games I want are coming to Europe. Professor Layton games seem very likely, but I can't say the same thing for "Good People Die". I think even "Harvest Moon: Land of Beginning" and "Rune Factory 4" will come over to the PAL regions.

As for albums, I can predict that amazing albums and songs will be released! And especially, cheers to utattemita! I hope they will continue to cover amazing songs and release lovely albums.

Boooooooooooks. I don't know what new titles will be out, but I will be at the library often to read both old and new books! Every year brings me one step closer to reading a library's worth of books! It makes me feel so happy to know that.

Er, I think that's sufficient for one post tonight. Oh, it's almost Australia Day! And Vietnamese/Chinese New Year for us Asians! Happy feasting to all Asians and Australians (and other ethnic groups that celebrate it)! :)
